Blackburn Brothers blend blues, soul and funk in music shaped by family, history and a shared musical language. Brothers Duane Blackburn (vocals and keyboards), Brooke Blackburn (guitar and vocals) and Cory Blackburn (drums and harmony vocals) anchor the band’s sound with soulful singing, expressive guitar and deep rhythmic grooves.
Descendants of freedom seekers who travelled through the Underground Railroad and settled in Southern Ontario, the brothers carry that heritage into songs exploring freedom, legacy, Black unity and love.
Their album SoulFunkn’BLUES brings these themes together in a sound rooted in tradition and alive with contemporary energy. From intimate venues to international festival stages, Blackburn Brothers bring audiences together through the power of live music.
